FRESHMEN & NEW THEATRE STUDENTS

Hello and welcome back to school,

You are receiving this email because your child is enrolled in a theatre 1 class at Langham Creek High School. We are thrilled your student wants to study theatre with us and we are excited to meet them. We wanted get incontact with you before school started so you can place some important dates on your home calendars. We want your incoming freshmen to be as involved as soon as possible and here are a few ways to make that happen.

Saturday 8/25 9am-12pm Ad Sales Day
Ad sales is one of our largest fundraisers we do as a program. We sell ad space, business and personal, in our season program. We use this day to go around the local community and ask businesses to purchase ads. We divide students into groups with parent chaperones to make this happen. Each student receives a script to read to make sure we give all correct information while out and about.

Students will need to wear a Langham Creek Shirt, red or black shirt, shorts and close toe shoes. We will provide water bottles for each student.

If you are going to participate please respond to this email with your students name and cell phone number.

Wednesday 8/29 2:50-3:30pm TROUPE OPEN HOUSE

All students interested in being involved in our after school club are welcome to come to our open house meeting. There our officer team will introduce students to the program and answer any questions they may have as well as fun games and a snack! Please note there is no late busses
