November Community Service Project

What's Happening this Week

Tuesday 11/7 at 7:00pm in the Green Room

Parent Meeting. It is mandatory for Advance Theatre 1 and Production Class parents to attend. We will be discussing all theatre events from December to February as well as volunteer needs.

Wednesday 11/8 Troupe Meeting 2:55-3:30pm

If students cannot attend Wednesday after school they MUST attend the Makeup meeting Thursday Morning

A HUGE thank you to all who came out and supported our show Elephant's Graveyard this past weekend. The show received rave reviews and all in all was a great success!

TOTS Pick Up!
Troupe members that did not help hand out the bags are required to attend this event.  Students will meet at LCHS Auditorium at 4:45pm and will disburse to neighborhoods to Trick or Treat for Canned Goods. They will HAVE to wear their Troupe Shirts to this event. Students will need to be picked up at Langham Creek HS at 7:00pm

We will need large vehicles to help us transfer all the canned goods that students pick up from neighborhoods back to Langham Creek. Kellye Slatton will be sending out a sign up email soon.

TOTS is our October Community Service Project. We will be collecting grocery paper bags the week of 10/9-10/13. If you have bags you would like to donate please send them up to the school. 

The week of 10/16-10/31 We will be collecting nonperishable food items to donate to our local food shelter.

On 10/24 3:00-4:30pm We will be taking our students to our local neighborhoods to drop of donation bags we will need parent volunteers. More info will be sent soon about signing up to drive.

On 10/31 from 5-7pm we will be picking up donation bags from those neighborhoods. We will need parent volunteers to help bring the donations back to the school.

Troupe 4026 Informational Meeting 2:45-3:30pm

This will be our information meeting for any students that want to be apart of our Thespian Honor Society. This club meets on the first Wednesday of each month, engages in community service projects in our school and community, socials, as well as support our theatre program. 

Students can collect points for their involvement throughout the year and can qualify to become a National Honor Thespian as well as qualify to letter in theatre. 

You won't want to miss this meeting!!

Elephants Graveyard

Below is the audition packet for Elephant's Graveyard.

Students will need to fill out the last three pages of the audition packet and turn in the day of the audition. They will also need to memorize one monologue from the show to perform. We have also provided a copy of the script so you can be familiar with show. Please note we will be gender blind casting this show. Your student can sign up for an audition time with the link below.
