10/24 TOTS Neighborhood Bag Drop Off
We need parent drivers to drive students to nearby neighborhoods to drop off donation bags for our food drive. Kellye Slatton will be sending out a sign up email soon.

10/26-10/29 Elephant's Graveyard Show Weekend
We will be sending out a sign up link for parents to volunteer to work concessions/box office for those dates.

10/31 TOTS Bag Pick Up 5:00-7:00pm
We will need large vehicles to help us transfer all the canned goods that students pick up from neighborhoods back to Langham CreekKellye Slatton will be sending out a sign up email soon.

TOTS is our October Community Service Project. We will be collecting grocery paper bags the week of 10/9-10/13. If you have bags you would like to donate please send them up to the school. 


The week of 10/16-10/31 We will be collecting nonperishable food items to donate to our local food shelter.

On 10/24 3:00-4:30pm We will be taking our students to our local neighborhoods to drop of donation bags we will need parent volunteers. More info will be sent soon about signing up to drive.

On 10/31 from 5-7pm we will be picking up donation bags from those neighborhoods. We will need parent volunteers to help bring the donations back to the school.

Welcome to the 2017-2018 School Year! We are so excited about your student being involved in Theatre Arts this year. Each week you will receive our week at a glance newsletter. This will include events that are happening in our program for the immediate week as well as in the weeks ahead. 


Happenings this Week!

Monday 9/11
First Day of School!

Wednesday 9/13
Troupe 4026 Informational Meeting 2:45-3:30pm
This will be our information meeting for any students that want to be apart of our Thespian Honor Society. This club meets on the first Wednesday of each month, engages in community service projects in our school and community, socials, as well as support our theatre program. 

Students can collect points for their involvement throughout the year and can qualify to become a National Honor Thespian as well as qualify to letter in theatre. 

You won't want to miss this meeting!!

Elephants Graveyard
Below is the audition packet for Elephant's Graveyard.
Students will need to fill out the last three pages of the audition packet and turn in the day of the audition. They will also need to memorize one monologue from the show to perform. We have also provided a copy of the script so you can be familiar with show. Please note we will be gender blind casting this show. Your student can sign up for an audition time with the link below.

All student interested in interviewing for productions class will need to take an online test over our handbook. Current Production Class Students will take this test during class. Any student not in production class will need to take it after school on Thursday.

We hope everyone had fun and relaxing Easter weekend with your friends and family. We are winding down to the end of school and we still have lots happening in our theatre program!!


Monday 4/17
Parent Meeting 7:00pm
We will be discussing information for the theatre program for the 2017-2018 school year. Please make sure to attend, if not the meeting minutes will be sent out. We will be having a drawing for FREE tickets to this year's end of the year banquet BUT you must be present to win!

Saturday 4/22
CFISD Middle School One Act Play Festival at the Berry Center
We will need adult volunteers to man the box office and concession stand. We will be hosting Contest from 8:00am-12:00pm and 3:00-8:00pm. A volunteer sign up will be sent out today. Please remember we can only have adults working these two stations at contest so we need volunteers.

It is time for production class interviews! This year students who are interested in join the production class will have to pass a test on the class handbook as well as an interview with the directors.

Production Class Interviews

It is time for production class interviews! This year students who are interested in join the production class will have to pass a test on the class handbook as well as an interview with the directors.

Handbook test will be Thursday April 27th during production class for current students and after school for students looking to join. Test will be given in the greenroom.
